Even when you struggle
To see your own magic

As the snow filled clouds dissipate
The sun shine downs with glowing rays
And vibrant colors of the world come back to play

A tangled web has been spun
Two hearts and souls
Have become one

My version of companionship is you — and infinite

Their roots were planted so deeply within each other
Each kiss they shared grew a garden — dynamic and full of life

These paint stained hands of mine
Have seen rhythms in time
Fluent movements creating the perfect paradigm
For the secrets that lay deep in my soul

But can you imagine if us dreamers
Listened to everyone
That said it could not be done
The world would be so dull and soulless

She is a landscape
With a soul as mountainous as it is magical
Her every breath is nourishing
A striking muse of the earth

Sparks of zest fly
As your smile lights up the sky
Carrying an energy that mystifies
Like the wings of a butterfly

Calmness washed over me
During this trauma that occurred
Reality hit like a tsunami
Of the damage to humans on earth

Elated in love
As we go for a dip
The adventures we share
On every trip

Floating through the atmosphere
Collecting memories as souvenirs
As I frolic with each boundary layer
The wind grabs hold of my hair

As my mind wandered to losing you
I forgot to breathe
And everything closed in on me

Easing my mind
But I am falling behind
Trying to hold my position in line

This life that you have come to know, evolves
When you learn the valuable lesson to listen
Instead of always having something to say

Her clothes slipped to the floor lustfully
The sun peeking through the window upon her
As light as her laughter

Reflect on your past to learn from it
Invest in your future as you plan for it
And live in the present so you don’t miss it

Standing in the rain
Always felt like a wretched task
Until I began loving myself

Be kind to those who struggle
To show kindness to you
You never know what another is working through

The sweetest sound
That I have yet to hear
Your giggles singing in my ear

The poison in our minds
Will suck us dry
If we let it

As my right foot reached for the water, I felt something wash over me. No, it was not the touch of the wave that lightly grasped my ankles. It was even more powerful, inside of me.
